Footpath essential on Eastburn/Sutton Lane.
It will take a serious or even god forbid a fatal accident to a padestrian on this ever increasingly busy road before a footpath is provided for the entire length of this road.
Persons wearing dark clothing are talking a serious risk of being hit by vehicles especially when their driver is dazzled by on coming traffic whose lights are getting brighter with each new model.
Taking a small amount off the fields adjacent to road to provide for this much needed safety feature the cost which could be reduced if the owners of the land were public spirited enough to bequeath it to the community or in this day and age is this asking too much?.

Hi may interest you to know we have a new footpath from sutton to within spitting distance of the Eastburn border is official its now one of Suttons definitive footpaths. although the gates and stiles are not yet in place and the pathway through the Ravenstones wood has disappeared, with footfall it will return and you may legally stand on the big rock.
ps the view is different the trees have grown.
