Hi, I've been asked to look into starting another 'acoustic' music night at the Bay Horse. If anyone's interested please contact Roger, Carol or myself.
Cheers

Hi everyone.

Well this animal has been awakened yet again!!! so let me put people in the picture as it were:

1. The original posting of this article was back in July of 2007 and the situation, as far as I'm concerned, has changed some what.

2. I've spoken to Roger at the Bay Horse and anyone who wishes to play at the pub on a Wednesday evening would be made more than welcome. The only stipulation is, it is, and remains, an acoustic night only. That means, NO AMPLIFIERS. This is due to previous complaints from his neighbours about the noise the last time music nights were held at this venue.

3. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not prepaired to host or run the event. In the past, people have turned up but not been prepaired to play unless I was there to start the procedings. My priorities now lie with my job which means, I would not be able to attend on a regular basis and, if and when I did, I would be leaving early. (All I'm saying is, many of these events don't tend to get going till well after 9pm and that would, on many occasions, be a bit too late for me).

I'm sure many people in the village would appreciate live music at the Bay Horse so, please feel free to contact Roger of Carol if you would like to use what has proved in the past, to be a wonderful venue.

Best wishes

Andy
