Sutton Cricket Club.
Paul,
Has this link site been removed for some reason? I was disapointed on Wednesday last having been introduced to Fred Miller's son and having a computer close to hand, I was unable to show him a photograph which used to be on this site, of his father. Is there an explanation or is it just "resting"? Miller junior is over on holiday from New Zealand and returns sometime this week. Hope that you can stir up an interest from the Cricket Club to re instate their site asap. Thanks in anticipation.

Alan,

Any loss of the site is nothing to do with the cricket club.

I have checked tonight and viewed the photo's so the site is still open.

Hope Roger is well. Pity we didn't know he was over. He could have played today as we were a player short !!

Hi Alan - nothing has changed on the cricket club pages in a long while except the addition of fixtures for May. There are links to two pages of photos at the bottom of the main cricket club page; the link to this is on the 'local information' page.

The content isn't at a separate site, it's just a set of pages within the main village site. Having said that, the cricket club is currently developing its own external site which should be live by the end of May - as soon as it's published I'll update the link.

Paul,
Sorry for making a mistake. I was going to say I had a senior moment, but I am not old enough. Apologies to all concerned. I looked under the Link column in a hurry to show him the photo thinking it was a separate entity.

Hi Stuart. The Cricket Club pages on the site are still at the wicket and enjoying a long innings. When your new site goes live please let me know if you want me to retire the pages (not out), or if you want me to leave them at the crease!

silly point, I never could work out where that position is on a cricket field..... or mid-wicket back-flip down at square leg..... or in-swinging wrong-un past 3rd slip at fine leg gully down to ramshagging outfielder at boundary point. Listening to the neologisms of cricket commentary can be very entertaining, but equally confusing !
