Laycock family
I am researching my family tree. On one branch I have got back to my great great great great grandfather, Luke Laycock born 1777. From the 1841 Census onwards he was living in Allerton,Bradford. On the 1851 Census his place of birth is listed as Sutton, Yorkshire which I think must be Sutton-in Craven.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this family, details of any siblings, parents etc.
I would love to hear from anyone.
Thanks.

Dear Josie
When I posted my original message, I thought that if anyone replied I would get an email to advise. When I didn't, I was fed up and assumed I had got my facts wrong.
Tonight I thought I'd have a look at the village site and saw your reply!
Needless to say, I am overwhelmed.
Where did this info come from? This increases my family tree a lot! So excited!
Thank you. Are you a relative?
Daniel xx

Hi Daniel

Just noticed that I put a space between the full stop after indexes in my email address and didn't notice it, so you may have been trying to contact me and it would probably have bounced back. Sorry
