Steven Emmott
I wonder if you can help me trace my relative Steven Emmott, he may be the father of your steve emmott on your site. This gentleman is a member of my family Coupland/Revell and I was at his wedding some years ago.
His mum was a lovely lady called Janie and they lived in Steeton in a cottage at the top of a big hill. He had a brother called Dougie.
I am the grandson of Sarah Coupland nee revell and my dad Arthur spent many happy years in your area as a child, in fact the family had a farm at Silsden.
At his wedding Steven invited us all to visit him and his wife but not to come at the same time as they had not enough cups !!.
My daughter Sarah is now reseaching the family and if Steven is still with us could help.
But it would be great to hear from this side of the family.

I might be able to help you. I believe the Dougie Emmott that you refer to is the same person that was a member of the YPF (referred to frequently on this site) during my era.

If so, his brother is or was the Pastor of the South Craven Evangelical Church in Crosshills. Google 'south craven evangelical church' to get details, including a church email address. However, a separate hit displayed the email address sdemmott@tiscali.co.uk

Post again if you don't get anywhere but I'm reluctant to find and pass phone numbers and addresses on a forum for all the accepted reasons. That could perhaps be facilitated via the webmaster. I know where he did live in years past but I haven't seen him for decades.

Do remember Stephen Emmott was involved with the Evangelical Church in Cross Hills - not seen him for a long time though. Should be easy to trace as message above.
