Rowan Garth Lights
The residents of Rowan Garth, Sutton will once again be decorating their houses with lights for Christmas. After last year's display being hit by the appalling weather, it is hoped to be back to full strength this time. The official 'switch-on' will be on Sunday 4th December at 6.30. There will be carols with Silsden Town Band from 6.15 and they will provide seasonal music afterwards. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available. Everybody welcome to this brilliant start to Christmas.
The lights will be on from 5.30-10.00 each evening through the season, so bring your children, grandchildren, parents and friends and add a bit of light to the dark nights.
All money raised will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Cancer Research

The residents of Rowan Garth would like to thank everybody who came up to see the lights and made a donation in the collecting box. This year people have donated a fantastic amount of £770. This will be shared between the Yokshire Air Ambulance and Cancer Research.
If all goes well, we hope to repeat the event next Christmas. The 'switch -on' will be on Sunday 2nd December. Silsden Town band have been booked and Calendar TV have put it in their diary!
