Park Family Geneology
Hi

I am working on my family tree and have traced my branch of the park family back to: Abraham Park, born around 1802 in Glisburn (or Glusburn), Kildwick, Yorkshire.

Does anyone have any information about the Park family in your area that they would share with me.

My E-mail is Denp14@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance

Hi Ian,

I got a whole heap of information from Josie Walsh about my part of the Park Family in your region- Thanks Josie!

I'm still trying to work it out , so below is my current understanding!

William Park (Cononley) & Mary Gott are the parents of William Park (Cowling) who married Anne Cryer (and their 1st Child was Abraham.)

An other William Park, was the Brother of Abraham & William married Anne Hopkinson. (needs checking)

And then another Abraham (was the brother of Wiliam of Cononley) who married Sarah Shuttleworth in 1771.

From your area (plus Idle Nr Bradford)

My side of the family is quite easy really (all big families)

Abraham Park(1802) went to Liverpool from Cowling (cotton worker)
then William Park (1857)
then Thomas Park (1891)
then William John Park (1922)- Dad!

I live in Ireland, but come from the UK and have lived in Liverpool, Leeds & London (as a Child) and now West Cork!

If you want the full info then let me know Ian and E-mail me at the address above.

Thanks
Dennis Park
