The second show will not yet have started. I was fortunate enough to see the Friday night offering. Well worth the trip, the money and the time spent. Congratulations to the organisers and the cubs and scouts who took part. I did not realise how old I am until I looked at the programme and saw that this is the 66th show. My first gang show would be about 1946 and I can remember it as plain as the day. I am pleased to see that Akela, from my days, Miss Winnie Smith was due to attend tonight. I don't think she will think me ungentlemanly for reminding her, I hope not.
