Dog Fouling
Hi. I posted a comment about dog fouling some time ago. I am sending this because I have discovered something which i don't like. I was at someones house when I was in the garden. Behind the bush there was thousands of full doggie bags. This is on the footpath near crag lane in sutton. I would just like to tell the people who are not responsible dog owners that they should throw their bags in a bin or take them home, and not leave them behind an innocent persons backgarden. Sorry to those responsible dog owners who do take their dogs buisness to a bin or home. None of this affects you.

Any chance of someone from the council or dog warden dept out at night to patrol . i think you will find thats when irresponsible dog owners walk their pets. when they think no one can see them.
The footpath down the side of Glusburn school is always a mess with dog fouling
and lots of children use this path daily to and from school.
If you own a dog please clean up after it!!

The worst people are those who pretend to be conscientious and then either stuff their doggie bags in a crevice in the wall or tie them onto the fence. I don't believe it!!

Well yes I do, cos I've seen it. They should know better. They pretend they do. Hope they are reading this.

I have to write in too about dog fouling

I live on Sutton Fields and I am SICK of people using my front door step as a dog toilet!!!

One woman even stood infront of me once and let her dog urinate literally on my doorstep!!!

I am disgusted at this, how would people like it if they had to dodge Dog dirt just to walk intot their own house?

I wish people would have al little more respect for others!!

We need more dog bins. Also the dog warden seems to be a vanishing breed. Any one seen any recently.

We did (do?) have a number of dog bins around the village (by the cricket club, at Holme Bridge & at the end of The Coppice, near the cricket ground) but my enduring image of these bins is them being perpetually full & a piles of bags on & around these bins. Better than on the sole of my shoe but still not ideal! Were / are these bins ever emptied? If so by whome & how often? At least if (however unlikely) a member of the constabulary witnesses a dog owner not cleaning up after their dog they will receive the full weight of the law (or a stearn frown at least)....... don't even get me started on cats!! Half the neighbourhoods' cats using my veg patch as a giant loo leaving presents for me to find when I'm weeding (nice) or worse still in the grass where my kids play (decidedly NOT nice). Not neccasarily the "owners" fault (who actually owns a cat? I beleive the cat owns you) but still make my blood boil!! Rant over.......for now.

The council have removed the dog bags from the bridge at the top of crag lane and now, for the sake of people who use the path, I hope eveyone will now take their dogs fouling with them and keep the walkway and the surrounding area clear.

Hi.
Thankyou Kel for telling me that. Hopefully they will clean everywhere. Its really good news and they should do everywhere often. Im really sick of trying to avoid getting dog dirt on my shoe.

I have even spoken to someone at craven council environmental health to report persistenting fouling by a certain local person. i was assured that since i had given the time and route of the daily walk that the dog warden would follow up........still waiting.
