Bonfire Night
Congratulations to everyone who played a part at this year's bonfire and firework display. It was very well organised - and very safety conscious. It was good to see so many people enjoying this community event. We are fortunate in having such a hard working group of people on the Village Committee. I hope people in the Village will continue to show them our thanks and future support.

Thanks for the comments, they are very much appreciated. The Village Committee and Conservation Group did us all proud, and long may the tradition continue. A DVD/video of the display is being produced, so anyone who couldn't get down to the park on the night can have a chance to see what all the noise was about!

DVD/video is a blinding idea (excuse the pun)

Will it be available to buy via the site? I would be happy to pick one up from the post office or somewhere else in Sutton but others outside Sutton/Craven might like a copy?

Hi Mark

I'm sure there'll be a way for anyone who's interested to get hold of a copy but details haven't been finalised yet. I'll keep you posted, should have more info after the weekend.

Thank you Paul. I spoke to a young lad who works in the park this afternoon about it and he also said the same (details haven't been finalised yet) It is really nice to see the youth like himself taking an interest in not only the park but also the whole future of the village and the people.

The master DVD and VHS tape are done, just waiting on them being duplicated and a cost sorted out, shouldn't be long now.
