Hi folks - from the TV and news reports we have seen 'down-under' your weather has been atrocious! I watch the bulletins with interest - judging from the lack of activity on this web-site I am guessing you have all gone into hibernation - we, on the other hand, are in the middle of our summer holidays - not without its own problems of course. Having returned from our first ever, cruise, I am still feeling a little mellow but would love to hear about your winter wonderland, the lights, the carols and everything that is associated with your winter Christmas.

Hello all under the drifts, just joking.
Hope it's not as bad as USA.
We are in for a hot spell hear seemingly one to two weeks of high 30s to low 40s. Up in the north of Victoria it will reach high 40s. Actually there will be a lot hoping a bit of cool Yorkshire air could drift across by the end of the week!
Brenda where did you cruise? We were on an Asian one in 2012, my first time,small boat 690px great looking at another to end up in Europe or the reverse this year. |

The bad weather mainly affected the south and west of the country, winter has been relatively mild so far round these parts! |
