Gentlemen in Sutton Park
Roger, Your photo and comments are very interesting. I have another photo of the man I believed to be Kit Pullan (the seated gentleman). This was handed to me, along with the one in the park, by his great granddaughter who lives locally. I will have to make further investigations to try and clarify this new information. Thank you.

Natalie, Many thanks for getting in touch. I would be very interested to see the other photo you have. I am going to add to the gallery a photo of my great-great grandfather William Hargreaves and his wife Hannah (nee Overton) and their family taken outside Wood Top Farm in about 1888. I can't be sure of the date until I get confirmation of the youngest son's bithday. My grandmother Mary-Ann is there and she was born in 1865 and could be 22 or 23.
Best wishes, Roger.

Message for Roger & Natalie. These gentleman in the park photos prompted me to check Miss Rileys book called One of the Gems, The Park Sutton-in-Craven, I was sure I had seen the photo before, well what a surprise, its a different one to yours, and does not list all the names from the other 2 photos, and includes the Vicar Mr Light, but I have managed to rename most of them, problem with just 3 gentleman who appear to be wrongly named, of named the wrong way round. Think a visit to the library is in order, to check the details of the Park opening, will keep everybody informed.
If Roger or Natalie wish to contact me direct, webmaster please give them my email address.

Roger, Lovely family photograph. I am in the process of contacting my relative to arrange a visit to discuss this current family identity issue and will hopefully be able to resolve the matter soon.
