Celebrate Sutton Meeting - 24th September
A group of people have been discussing the possibility of holding a 'Celebrate Sutton' event in 2019. This would be a new and additional event to the Fun Day run by the Village Committee, which is held every June. The aims of ‘Celebrate Sutton’ would be to celebrate everything that is good about our village, contribute to community well-being and to raise money for local groups/charities. We envisage 3 themes: 1) celebrating our sports and social clubs, 2) celebrating our creativity and 3) celebrating our kindness and generosity.
If you’re interested in possibly helping to develop the ideas please do come along to the first planning meeting on Monday 24th September at 7.30pm at St Thomas' – no commitments at this stage! If you’re interested but can’t make it please do let me know. |
