3 Acrylic paintings of Sutton FREE to good home - PLUS postage from Oz
Hi, I have 3 CANVAS paintings of Sutton that I’m happy to give away for free – just the cost of postage I would charge!

I think they were painted with acrylic paints. Anyway, I had them painted in 2009 & 2010, all painted in S.E. Asia signed & dated. I had them dismantled from their frames & shipped back to Australia in tubes and then had them professionally re-mounted here with wooden backing frames complete and ready for hanging on the wall.

Image No 1 is in colour and shows the Bay Horse pub with the green hills in the background. It was painted from a photo I took in the year 2000 and measures 58cms x 78cms or 23 inch x 31 inch.

Image No 2 was painted in black & white from Photo No 8, Bairstow’s Mill in The Glyn Whiteoak Collection in the gallery (also the eighth photo down in the Sutton Mills c1900 provided by Tony Ingham – same photo). It measures 69cms x 89cms or 27 inch x 35 inch.

Image No 3 was painted in black & white from the first photo of Sutton Mills c1900 provided by Tony Ingham in the gallery. It also measures 69cms x 89cms or 27 inch x 35 inch.

So they are quite large paintings and very well painted too. I’ve had them hanging on my office walls at work since they were done and they have attracted a lot of interest & comments over the years.

Alas I’m leaving these shores and can’t take them with me. If anyone is interested I am happy to pack & send them within Australia or by sea mail to the UK.

Within Australia the cost of postage is approximately $26.50 for all 3 paintings. Overseas postage to the UK is approximately $80.70 for all 3 (around 50 pounds). I will scan & email a copy of the postage receipt. No charge for the paintings, just the actual postage.

If anyone would like to see photos of the paintings please ask the webmaster to forward your email address to me. Again if anyone is interested it will be a case of ‘first come first served’.

If I don’t hear anything for 3 weeks they will unfortunately be disposed of in a skip. 5th September is the last date I can arrange postage.

Adios, ciao and be quick!

Hi Andrew, are you coming home to Sutton?....we'll hang out the bunting! Your paintings should roll up again for easy packing so you don't have to 'skip' them.

Hi Joan, no I'm not ready to buy a one-way ticket back to Sutton just yet! I'm heading to SE Asia for a few years.

Actually that's a good point, an alternative & cheaper postage option (certainly to the UK) is to remove them from their frames and roll them up into a tube - postal quote available on request. The problem is it's quite costly to have them re-mounted professionally, unless somebody is able to do the job themselves.

I can get some different paintings done when I’m over there :-)

Sorry Yvonne I must be hallucinating! I thought it was t’lass up at Cowling who I was responding to. If your Robert ever finds himself in Cambodia please ask him to give me a yell, I’ll pop a bottle or two on ice ready for his arrival!
