Sutton Lane Planning Application
Dear All

the application has been withdrawn!!!! At this stage, we don't know why, or if they will resubmit, but this is good news right now. Keep vigilant everyone, and get ready to object again if they resubmit. Thanks for everyone's efforts so far.

Best Wishes

Dear All

I asked the planning department if the withdrawal was as a result of a recommendation - they have not produced a report or recommendation, and won't do so now. If the application is resubmitted, it will be publicised (i.e. NOT!) in the normal way.
The key now is to lobby on the Local Plan and get the land taken off the SHLAA. It is due for consultation very soon - keep an eye on the Craven Herald, and I will also publicise the details on here when they come out.

Best Wishes

Great news but as Liz says we cannot rest on our laurels just yet.

Dear Liz,

What brilliant news. I would like to thank you for all your efforts regarding this application. If you know how to get this land off the SHLAA, I would be very interested to add my voice to that to stop any applications being submitted in the future.

Once again, thank you for your efforts.

Kind regards,

Stuart Hardy, 7 Dixon Street.

It has come to the applicant's notice that some objections have allegedly been submitted without the knowledge of the people who are supposed to have submitted them and it would appear that this is illegal and fraudulent.
