Help Missing Cat
Hi All
Our little Siamese seal point (chocolate head/feet/tail) cat went missing yesterday morning after being spooked by a dog. She was seen first thing by Prospect House behind the Kings Arms in the bungalows garden....then shot off but sadly I don't know where and we didn't realise she wasn't fast asleep upstairs until teatime. we have posted flyers and have been wandering checking gardens to no avail. She is one of the family, and I am worried sick, she is not a proper outdoor cat, tends to stay in the garden, never out alone at night, and has never gone missing in 11 years - she's very small with bright blue eyes and will be terrified and very cold and wet, I suspect (hopefully) holed up somewhere hiding. We waited up last night but no sign. Please check your gardens, under things, in small spaces. Thank you so much. We are 3 Elm Road Sutton 07779 329538

I'll keep a look out Jenny. I saw your poster earlier when walking Maggie. Hopefully she's been sheltering from the rain and will be home soon. Have you given Ashlands and Kingsway a call too?

I've posted both of these animals to two lost animals pages on Facebook, I'll ask Abi at Paws for Pet Supplies to share on her page.

Another thought which worked for my friend - she leafleted her local area, just her street and one adjoining, to ask people to check out houses etc. Some of the local population (Elm Rd, Ash Gr, North Rd etc) may not go out to see your posters and may not be online so much either. If she's got stuck sheltering it might be worth a try :-)

Meant to add, I can probably rustle you up a child or two to help post them if you like!

Hi Jenny - I'll keep a look out for your cat, though I doubt that she'll get down to this end of the village (Main Street). A few years ago, my cat went missing for a week. I put posters in the Post Office and the shop and in the Family Pantry and on the allotments and also did 200 flyers and took them door-to-door round about. I rang the vets and the animal shelters and was nearly despairing as, even though he liked to go out and about, he always came back every hour or so to check up on us.

Somebody finally saw him looking out of a front room window on North Street and came to tell me. It turned out that he'd jumped down through the cellar window at the back and couldn't get out again that way, but whenever the people at the house went out to work he went up to the living-room/kitchen etc and made himself at home, eating what food he could find and so on, but disappearing back down the cellar as soon as he heard them coming home. So, they'd no idea he was there, even though they'd also been leafletted...

Hope you'll soon find her - also hope Richard soon finds his iguana. I'm keeping a look out for her as well...

We checked all the vets this morning, re unconfirmed report that a Siamese had been found dead and handed in, on the Silsden bypass Monday! Possibly if she had crawled up into a car as she was last seen just beyond our garden under / near neighbours car......perish the thought. And would explain why no apparent sight............But all vets reporting nothing........so will look again locally tonight. We posted more leaflets yesterday and some lamp-post flyers. Dave did the sofas shift last night but no sign.
Thanks again everyone.

Hi Jenny

We were driving on the by-pass on Monday and saw a dead cat in the road...I said to my husband that it looks like a Siamese cat, hope it was not yours? The only thing I can say if it is yours is that it would not have know anything about it...

I will keep my eye out and pray that your cat comes home X
