Sutton Village Committee Update
Sutton Village Committee are pleased to announce that we have managed to overcome the hurdles, Dotted the I’s and Crossed the T’s and this year we are extending the Christmas Light Display up the High Street.
We have also had 3 bespoke ‘Merry Christmas‘ Motifs made to install – so look out for those!
The Village Committee Christmas lights will be on from Saturday 30th November through til 2nd January.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who support the events we put on -

The Funday – which was a tremendous success. The Village Committee gave away all of the Takings from the Refreshments Marquees to 5 local charities, we also gave cash prizes to the procession winners.

The Bonfire & Fireworks Display – Thanks to those who came along in the torrential wet weather to enjoy the fantastic fireworks, to those who left kind comments on our Facebook page and the after event donations still being given to contribute towards the event. All of this has given us the encouragement to come back with a brand new concept of a family Halloween outdoor party with ‘Aggie’ to entertain the children, competitions, something for the teens alongside the Bonfire and Fireworks Display – It will be held on Friday 31st October 2014. Fingers crossed the weather will be kind to us!

Our New Year’s Eve Party Night this year is 70’s & 80’s with One Stop Boogie, DJ, Late License and Food. We have just 12 tickets remaining – So don’t miss out!

Our Valentines Special on Saturday 15th February with the Number 1 tribute to Rod Stewart. To order tickets contact Christine on 01535 636639

One Last Thing – We would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Great New Year from Sutton Village Committee!

Excellent news David.

The Christmas lights are something the village can rightly be very proud of. It is incredible that a village of this size hosts so many worthwhile events to raise funds for local causes.

Long may it continue.
