Sutton author's blog
As some of you possibly know, I started a blog late last year as a way of getting myself back into writing after a very long break. To my surprise, it's taken on a life of its own and I'm now putting a new post on there nearly every week. It's mostly a light-hearted account of travels around Yorkshire, told from the viewpoint of my "lucky mascot" teddy bear, Wilf. As well as in the UK, it's also been viewed in a few countries around the world and this has given me an idea to try and raise some money for Yorkshire Cat Rescue in Keighley. (Don't panic - it won't cost you a penny!!) What I plan to do is donate £10 for each country it's viewed in, so if anyone's reading this from outside the UK, or has friends or family overseas, or is going on holiday to foreign parts, I'd be really grateful if you could take a couple of minutes to click on the following link and take a look at any random post. Many thanks!! https://wilfthebearfacedblogger.wordpress.com/

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who's taken the trouble to look at Wilf the Bear-faced Blogger this week. I hope you enjoyed what you read there. He's now been viewed in 27 countries, which is great but means there are still plenty more countries out there where he's not been seen. So please keep up the good work by also letting friends and family overseas know about him and let's see how far his fame can spread (and, of course, how much I can raise for Keighley Cat Rescue as a result). His latest post (Number 42) is about an adventure quite near to home - a cruise on the canal from Skipton to Snaygill with a visit to a brewery as well! Thanks again to everyone who's joined in so far.
