Where are they now?
My mum,Mary Summerscales (as was) went to school and the Baptist Church until she left Sutton in 1933 aged 13. Background: My Grandparents Herbert and Norah Summerscales took over Bankfoot Farm in 1921 and apart from Mary had three further children: Edna, Edward(decd) and Sarah who would have been 3 when they moved. Names remembered so far: Mary Bowker,Amy Parker, Howard Bottomly, Blanche and Queenie Neil and ? Hiscoe
Family friends include the Sugden family who farmed the next farm up from Bankfoot.
Any memories would be of great interest to mum and her sisters
