JAMES HARTLEY AND THE FOUNDING OF HAYFIELD MILL, GLUSBURN
Please, does anyone know whether there are any company records or similar about the founding of Hayfield Mill?
I am researching the Berry family story that my great-great grandfather, Thomas Berry, sizer, of Sutton lent money to his brother in law, James Hartley to help with the set-up costs. (The money was repaid!). I haven't found anything on the National Archive or Companies House websites.

What a fascinating website! It was good to see my classmates again on the photos of Miss Alderson's class of 1947 and Miss Wilson's class of 1951.
