I don't know if I'm on the right lines but I have my Uncle Fred Green's medal.
On one side is engraved K&DL Sutton United 1908-9 and on the other side is my uncle's initials. The Medal is approx. 2cm x2cm. and in it's original case. |

I submitted the Sutton United photo to the site and it is one of many 'postcards' exchanged between members of my family who lived in Glusburn and Cowling. They have passed down the family line from my grandfather who left the area for Castleford in 1910. Most of the cards have 1905-1910 postmarks but this one was not posted. I suspect your date is correct. Is Fred Green in the picture? |
