Jacob Monkhouse/Jim Monkhouse/John Overend/Hugh Dawson. Where are they now?
I guess that Andrew in Oz will pick up on this enquiry. Seems a bit odd seeking information on Sutton residents from someone so far afield, but Andrew I'm sure will provide the answers. He seems to have a wealth of knowledge about 'Holme Bridgers'.

G'day Denis
Quite right old chap! I can chip with half the information requested. Jacob (my dad) decided to check out the ‘other side’ in July 2007. Jim is fit as a butcher’s dog and still living in Cowling with his first and only wife Joyce for what seems like hundreds of years now.
John Overend – don’t know him, we used to live next door to Percy Overend. Likewise with Hugh Dawson, fraid I’ll have to ask the audience or call a friend. |
