I'll Dream Again.
After looking at this recent addition to the Gallery I think I can add a few Eastburn names.
Standing Centre stage in White top is Marjorie Riley who was the producer of many shows.At her right shoulder I believe is George Fennel, long standing member at Eastburn Methodist Church. Marjorie's husband Ralph Riley is standing next to Mrs. Belton. He ran the Cycle shop in Crosshills for many years and used to play the Saxaphone in the Savona Band.
On Ralph Riley's right in the soldiers hat I think is Fred Summerscales. 5th from the right is Mr. Lunn who ran the News Agents and shop in the centre of the village.
The lady behing Brenda looks like Mrs. Mitchell - either David or Geoffreys mother. The man seated on the left at the front could be Charlie Hustwick but I stand to be corrected. Barbara. |
