J W Teal went off to Australia and his family, related to Barritt builders, lost all contact. That is until, it is believed, his mother died and an advert was placed offering a reward for information which it appears was successful as photographs were sent to him of the area. He gathered these into an album which found its way to Farnhill recently when his descendants visited.

There is a view of children from Holme Bridge and the other one is just slightly down stream.

There might be a link with the builders as some buildings look to have been new build and the view of St Thomas's show what appears to be a newly created gateway.
