Fall Bridge strengthening c1996

With thanks to Brian R Clough

Below are scans of the original negatives of images I took in around 1996 of the of the Fall Bridge, some call it Lumb Bridge, when they were strengthening it. The stone arch, as seen in some images, is the original bridge and it was said, at the time, that the bridge is a listed structure.

If anyone is not familiar with where the bridge is, it is the bridge you go over to go up Ellers Road and The Bay Horse Pub was on the left.
