Pram Race 1974 and 1975
The first pram race in aid of Muscular Dystrophy took place in November 1974, and in May 1975 an inscribed silver
salver was presented to Mr & Mrs Clues of the Bay Horse, Cowling, by Sir Richard Attenborough. In 1976 a
rose bowl and tankard were also presented by Anita Harris, renowned actress and singer.
All the photos were scanned by R. Tindale, but were given by Sylvia (nee Clues) and Brian Dolphin, of Sutton,
both involved in the pram race organisation.
