"I find this shot particularly interesting for three reasons. Firstly there's snow on the hills which is somewhat topical at the moment or was a couple of weeks ago (January 2010). Secondly the road sign above the fountain "TO ADEN & SLIPPERY FORD". Thirdly and most intriguingly for me is the little boy stood next to the fountain. Who was he? Did he remain in Sutton all of his life? If so he is in all probablility somebody's father, grandfather or greatgrandfather... but I guess we'll never find out!"
